CNA Bridge Class
The purpose of the CNA Bridge Class is to introduce students to the health care field and the duties of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and prepare students for our CNA program by improving their literacy skills. This is an introduction class and will not result in state CNA certification.
Students who successfully complete the CNA Bridge class will be eligible for enrollment in our CNA certificated program. In order to successfully complete the class, students must:
- Attain at least a 90% attendance rate.
- Earn at least an 80% average on weekly quizzes and the final exam.
- Increase their TABE or CASAS score by at least 1 NRS level.
The CNA Bridge classes meets in Urbana Adult Education Center – East building. If you are selected to attend the CNA Bridge class, you will receive an email, text, and/or phone call from our Data Assessment Center Coordinator.
